Subject: Optimization of Ranks and Human Resources in the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP)
. No. F.4(1)/2020-R-I dated June 18, 2024, the Finance Division has officially approved the restructuring of personnel within the NHMP.

This adjustment not only streamlines ranks and positions to remove redundancy but also opens opportunities for recruiting specialized manpower to meet the evolving challenges in managing national highways and motorways. With the creation of new, strategically aligned posts, NHMP aims to better address the current and future operational demands of road safety, enforcement, and traffic management.
All future recruitment against the newly created positions shall be in accordance with the rules, quotas, and procedural frameworks approved by the relevant authorities, and under the close oversight of the Ministry of Communications in consultation with the Establishment Division and Finance Division.
This memorandum shall serve as the formal approval for initiating further action on restructuring and recruitment under the rationalized framework.
