Selected candidates will work in various specialized laboratories within their respective fields:
Electrical Engineering Technology Labs:
- Electrical Laboratories
- Electronics Laboratory
- Computer Networks & Optical Communication Lab
Chemical Engineering Technology Labs:
- Chemical Laboratory
- Chemical Industries & Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology Lab
- Particulate Technology Laboratory
Civil Engineering Technology Labs:
- Concrete Laboratory
- Transportation & Highway Laboratory
- Geo-Technical Laboratory
- Surveying Store
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants must hold:
- DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation for Electrical Engineering Technology.
- DAE in Chemical Technology for Chemical Engineering Technology.
- DAE in Civil Technology for Civil Engineering Technology.
Candidates must also demonstrate practical knowledge of laboratory work, equipment handling, and technical procedures relevant to their specialization.
Key Responsibilities:
Skilled Workers will be expected to manage and assist in day-to-day laboratory operations. Specific responsibilities include:
- Equipment Maintenance & Calibration: Ensuring all lab instruments are maintained, serviced, and calibrated regularly.
- Practical Session Assistance: Providing necessary technical support during student practical classes.
- Sample Management: Properly organizing and storing samples while adhering to laboratory safety standards and protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Following strict safety guidelines to ensure the protection of staff, students, and equipment.
- Cleaning & Upkeep: Maintaining cleanliness and proper functioning of all laboratory equipment.
- Documentation: Keeping updated records of equipment usage, maintenance logs, and daily operational reports.
