Position Available
Research Associate (BPS-17) – 01 Post
Qualification Requirements:
- Master’s degree or equivalent (16 years of education) in International Relations (IR), Political Science, Defence & Strategic Studies (DSS), Peace & Conflict Studies, Defence & Diplomatic Studies, or a closely related discipline.
- Preference will be given to candidates with specialization or research focus on India/South Asia.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 35 years (inclusive of 5 years’ general age relaxation as per government rules).
Experience & Publications:
- Minimum two years of research experience in a reputable university, think tank, or research institution.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Research Associate will:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on regional and global strategic issues.
- Prepare scholarly articles, policy briefs, and research papers for publication.
- Collaborate with senior researchers on projects related to foreign policy, defense, and regional security.
- Represent the Institute in academic seminars, conferences, and stakeholder engagements.
