The Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC), under the Government of Punjab, is working to build healthy, sustainable, and resilient cities across the province. In line with the Chief Minister’s Punjab Development Program, PMDFC is establishing a Program Management Unit (PMU) for the Provision of Sewerage and Storm Water Drainage Facilities in Punjab. Vision & Objectives of the Program
The Government of Punjab’s development vision focuses on urban resilience and sustainable infrastructure. The Program Management Unit will ensure the professional execution of sewerage and storm drainage projects, with the following objectives:
- Improve urban management and service delivery in Punjab cities
- Protect public health by preventing water pollution
- Reduce risks of urban flooding through effective drainage systems
- Safeguard critical infrastructure from storm water damage
- Strengthen local government institutions for long-term sustainability

1. Research Associate (Procurement) – PPS-06
- Number of Posts: 01
- Qualification: 16 years of education in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Project Management, or Supply Chain from a recognized institution.
- Experience: At least 01 year of relevant professional experience in procurement or project management.
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
2. Research Associate (Finance) – PPS-06
- Number of Posts: 01
- Qualification: 16 years of education in Economics or Finance from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 01 year of relevant work experience, preferably in water sector finances or development programs.
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
Compensation & Benefits
- Market-based salaries commensurate with qualifications and experience
- Contract period of two years, extendable based on project duration and satisfactory performance
- Exposure to large-scale development projects in Punjab’s urban sector
- Preference given to candidates already working on similar project assignments
