About the Competition Commission of Pakistan

Available Positions
1. Deputy Director (Cartels & Trade Abuse)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Law, or Finance from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years for Bachelor’s degree holders or 5 years for Master’s degree holders.
- Age Limit: Up to 32 years.
- Preferred Skills:
The candidate should possess strong knowledge of competition law, regulatory frameworks, and cartel investigations. Applicants must be able to plan and conduct inquiries into anti-competitive practices, analyze business behaviors, and prepare detailed investigation reports and legal briefs. Preference will be given to those with experience in economic analysis and compliance assessment.
2. Assistant Director (Legal/Adjudication)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Law from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years.
- Age Limit: Up to 30 years.
- Preferred Skills:
The applicant should have hands-on experience in legal drafting, vetting contracts, agreements, and MoUs. They must be capable of preparing regulatory filings, conducting legal research, and representing CCP in court proceedings. A solid understanding of corporate and competition law will be an added advantage.
3. Assistant Director (Exemptions)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Law, Economics, or Finance.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years.
- Age Limit: Up to 30 years.
- Preferred Skills:
Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of competition law and exemption regulations. They must be skilled in analyzing exemption requests, conducting assessments, and maintaining documentation related to regulatory decisions. Experience in government or regulatory bodies will be preferred.
4. Assistant Director (Office of Fair Trade)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Law, Economics, or Finance from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years.
- Age Limit: Up to 30 years.
- Preferred Skills:
The candidate should understand economic principles and anti-competitive behavior. They must possess the analytical capability to interpret complex data, assess market dynamics, and ensure fair trading practices. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in research, compliance, or regulatory organizations.
