Ministry Of Water Resources (MOWR) Jobs The Ministry of Water Resources, through the Office of Pakistan Commissioner for Indus Waters, Islamabad, has announced several vacancies under the PSDP Project titled “Capacity Building of the Office of Pakistan Commissioner for Indus Waters”. These positions are offered on a purely contract basis. Interested candidates are invited to apply for the following posts:
1. Financial Management Specialist / Procurement Specialist (PPS-9)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
- Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA (Finance), Commerce, CA, ACCA, or ACMA from a university recognized by the HEC.
- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial management, accounting, financing, budgeting, and other related activities, especially in the public sector, with at least 3 years of experience in PSDP projects.
- Monthly Salary: PKR 306,250 (all-inclusive, lump sum package)
2. GIS Analyst (PPS-9)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
- Qualification:
- 16 years of education in GIS/RS, Geomatics, Geography, or closely related fields from an HEC/PEC recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in GIS, with proficiency in utilizing GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth Engine. Experience in water sector GIS/RS applications is preferred.
- Monthly Salary: PKR 306,250 (all-inclusive, lump sum package)
3. Hydraulic Engineer (PPS-9)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
- Qualification:
- Master’s degree (18 years) in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized or international reputable university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water resources planning, development, management, and operations.
- Monthly Salary: PKR 306,250 (all-inclusive, lump sum package)
4. Hydrologist (PPS-9)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
- Qualification:
- Master’s degree (18 years) in Civil or Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized or international reputable university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water resources planning, development, management, and operations.
- Monthly Salary: PKR 306,250 (all-inclusive, lump sum package)
5. Assistant Director (IT) (PPS-8)
- No. of Posts: 1
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
- Qualification:
- 16 years of education in Computer Science, IT, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in IT, with expertise in MIS development, digitization, and office automation.
- Monthly Salary: PKR 218,750 (all-inclusive, lump sum package)
