Position Title

Unit Head – Compensation & Benefits (OG-I)

Reporting Line: Regional HR Business Partner

Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized local or international institution accredited by HEC.
  • Preference will be given to candidates holding specialized degrees in Human Resource Management and/or Public Administration.

Professional Experience

  • At least three (03) years of relevant HR experience.

Required Skills and Competencies

  1. Strong understanding of modern HR practices, frameworks, and processes.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.
  3. Proven organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP HCM processes.
  5. Commitment to accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee processing of staff-related loans such as House Building and Motor Car Finance in compliance with NBP’s staff loan policies.
  2. Supervise handling of employee benefits including House Rent Advances, Marriage Grants, Education Stipends, Hafiz-e-Quran allowances, and other entitlements.
  3. Ensure smooth processing of retirement benefits, final settlements, end-of-service benefits, and pensions for retired, resigned, deceased, or dismissed staff members.
  4. Facilitate timely settlement of medical reimbursements, hospitalization, and long-term ailment claims for serving and retired employees.
  5. Monitor and approve processing of Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance (TA/DA) bills according to travel policy.
  6. Act as a liaison between branches and Head Office for processing of pension, benevolent fund, and medical claims.
  7. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve and expedite benefit-related matters.
  8. Manage administrative staff expenses including periodicals, journals, and newspapers.
  9. Supervise SAP system activities such as payroll processing, salary reporting, and arrear/recovery calculations.
  10. Oversee Bonus/Ex-Gratia payments to ex-employees and ensure accurate Leave Encashment/LPR settlements.
  11. Maintain comprehensive MIS reports of HR operations for analysis and planning.
  12. Undertake any additional assignments as delegated by the supervisor(s).
