Position: Officer – Field Collections
(On a One-Year Renewable Contract)
📍 Location: Nationwide (All major cities and regions)
Key Role & Responsibilities
The Officer Field Collections will play a pivotal role in the bank’s recovery operations by engaging directly with customers and ensuring timely resolution of overdue accounts. Main duties include:
- Customer Outreach: Proactively contacting defaulters via telephone, email, or in-person visits to recover outstanding dues and encourage payment.
- Field Visits: Personally visiting delinquent account holders to negotiate repayments or develop customized settlement plans.
- Collections Strategy: Working independently on a portfolio of non-performing accounts to minimize overdue payments and recover bank assets.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all debt recovery practices adhere strictly to banking laws, internal policies, and legal frameworks.
- Customer Relationship: Maintaining professionalism, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach during every customer interaction to promote long-term relationships.
- Record Management: Keeping detailed and accurate records of recovery communications, payment follow-ups, and outstanding balances.
- Collaboration: Coordinating with legal, compliance, and customer support departments to handle complex or escalated collection cases.
- Reporting: Generating reports to track collection performance, challenges, and recovery trends.
- Escalation & Legal Coordination: Forwarding unresolvable cases to the legal department, where required, for further action.
- Professionalism: Upholding ethical standards, office discipline, and respectful conduct, even when dealing with uncooperative clients.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an HEC-recognized university or institute in any discipline.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age of 35 years, as of July 29, 2025.
Experience:
- Prior experience in banking or non-banking finance sectors is preferred.
- Applicants with background in recovery or collections, particularly in consumer banking or microfinance, will be given priority.
