The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the Examination-2025 schedule for appointing Section Officers (BS-17 and BS-18) in the Office Management Group (OMG) via transfer. Vacancy Details
The FPSC aims to fill 42 positions in the Office Management Group (OMG):
- 22 posts for BS-17
- 20 posts for BS-18

Examination Schedule
The written examination is tentatively scheduled for 17th–22nd February 2025, followed by the Viva Voce (oral examination) for successful candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Requirements
- A minimum of a Second Class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university or equivalent foreign qualification.
- Candidates with a Third Division (Grade D) in their Bachelor’s degree are eligible if they possess a higher division in their Master’s degree.
- Age Limit
- Candidates must be 30 years old or younger as of 2nd December 2024.
- No age relaxation is permitted.
- Service Requirements
- Open to Regular BS-17 and BS-18 Civil Servants, Provincial Civil Servants, and employees in public sector organizations or autonomous bodies.
- A minimum of 3 years of deputation experience as a Section Officer is mandatory.
- Applicants for BS-17 must already be in BS-17 roles, while BS-18 applicants should currently hold BS-18 positions.
Examination Fee
The non-refundable fee for the examination is Rs. 2200, payable at the National Bank of Pakistan under the head C-02101-Organs of State FPSC Exam Fee. Candidates must upload the Treasury Receipt during the online application process.
