Career Opportunities – Contract-Based Vacancies

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and qualified Pakistani nationals for various roles under four different health projects managed by the District Health Office Islamabad. All positions are offered on a contract basis for one year, with the possibility of extension, subject to performance and project requirements. These positions are part of various ongoing programs aimed at improving public health services.

Project A: Drug Control Section Strengthening Initiative

Positions:

1. Pharmacovigilance Officer (PPS-06)
   • Age: 18–35 years
   • Qualifications: Pharmacy degree from HEC-recognized institution
2. Drug Inspector (PPS-06)
   • Age: 18–35 years
   • Qualifications: Degree in pharmacy or chemistry with relevant experience
3. Scrutiny Officer (Drugs) (PPS-05)
   • Age: 18–35 years
   • Qualifications: Bachelor’s in medical/pharmacy; experience in evaluation
4. Web Manager (PPS-05)
   • Age: 18–35 years
   • Qualifications: BS Computer Science/IT; web development experience required

Project B: Community Health Center – Bari Imam ICT Islamabad

Healthcare Professionals Required:

• Medical Officers, ENT Specialists, Pediatricians, Radiologists, Gynecologists, Anesthetists, Pathologists, Surgeons, and Public Health Managers
  • Qualification: MBBS with specialization, registered with PMDC
  • Experience: 2–5 years (depending on role)
  • Age: Up to 40 years

Technical & Support Roles:

• Optometrist, Dental Surgeons, Staff Nurses, Technicians (X-ray, ECG, Anesthesia, Laboratory, etc.), Computer Operators, Drivers, Office Assistants, and Wardens
  • Age: 18–35 years
  • Qualification: Matric to Bachelor’s depending on post
  • Skills: Relevant certifications and hands-on field experience preferred

Project C: MNCH Center – Bhadaana Kalan ICT

Key Roles:

• Women Medical Officers, Gynecologists (Incharge), Medical Officers, Assistant Directors, X-Ray Technicians, Head Nurses, and Support Staff
  • Education: MBBS/BSc/Diploma in relevant fields
  • Experience: 2+ years for most positions
  • Age: 18–40 years depending on post

Project D: 64 BHUs & CHCs in ICT

Posts Include:

• Senior Medical Officers, Public Health Experts, Physicians, Eye Specialists, Technicians, and Lab Assistants
  • Qualification: MBBS or equivalent with experience and PMC registration

Important Instructions:

• All appointments will be made strictly on merit.
• Candidates must meet the required qualifications and age limits as specified.
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant field experience.
• Only shortlisted applicants will be called for interviews.
• No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview attendance.
• All positions are based within Islamabad.
