Role Overview
We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented Whole School Evaluation (WSE) Evaluators to join our REAL team. This role is central to assessing the quality and effectiveness of schools across The Citizens Foundation (TCF) network of over 2,000 schools. As an evaluator, you will conduct in-depth, participatory evaluations, combining qualitative and quantitative methods—ranging from classroom observations and surveys to interviews, document reviews, and assessments.
You will be more than just an evaluator—you will be a researcher, storyteller, and change agent. Your work will generate actionable insights, support continuous improvement, and help drive better educational outcomes in under-resourced communities.

Key Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (B.Ed. preferred) from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience.
- Desirable: 3–4 years of experience as a principal, teacher trainer, or academic manager.

- Resilience: Capable of meeting multiple deadlines while maintaining objectivity under pressure.
- Ethical Standards: Commitment to fairness, confidentiality, and transparency in all evaluations.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to collect and input data, use dashboards, interpret visual reports, and prepare/edit auto-generated evaluations.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations
- Use the WSE framework to assess school performance across academic and operational areas.
- Carry out classroom observations, student record reviews, surveys, and interviews with teachers, principals, and learners.
- Ensure that data collection methods are standardized, accurate, and unbiased.
2. Data Synthesis & Reporting
- Integrate qualitative and quantitative findings to produce clear, evidence-based conclusions.
- Recognize recurring trends and systemic challenges impacting school performance.
- Translate raw data into actionable recommendations for school improvement.
3. Stakeholder Feedback & Engagement
- Provide constructive, respectful feedback to school leadership and staff during and after evaluations.
- Facilitate open discussions that encourage collaborative problem-solving and shared ownership of improvement plans.
4. Pattern Recognition & Gap Analysis
- Identify correlations and recurring issues within teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
- Highlight areas where targeted interventions can lead to measurable improvements.
5. Uphold Integrity & Objectivity
- Maintain neutrality and confidentiality throughout the evaluation process.
- Ensure all recommendations are rooted in data, free from personal bias or external influence.
