Subjects Available for Teaching:
We are seeking faculty members to teach the following specialized subjects:
- Acting
- Movement and Physical Expression
- Improvisation (Improv)
- Diction and Voice Training
- Urdu Literature (Urdu Adab)
- History of Theatre
- Stage Craft and Set Design
- Stage Lighting
- Stage Makeup
- Production Fundamentals
- Costume Design for Theatre

Eligibility Criteria:
A. Academic Qualifications:
Applicants must have completed formal conservatory training in theatre arts with at least:
- A 3-year professional diploma in theatre from a recognized conservatory or
- An advanced academic qualification such as an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) or PhD in Theatre/Performing Arts.
Degrees or diplomas from renowned institutions such as NAPA, ACP (Asia Conservatory of Performing Arts), NSD (National School of Drama, India), RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, UK), LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) or equivalent international institutions will be given preference.
B. Professional Experience:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 7-10 years of combined teaching and/or professional theatre experience, showcasing both practical expertise and pedagogical skills. Professionals with a proven record of stage performances, directing, production design, or academic teaching in theatre are strongly encouraged to apply.
Faculty Selection Process:
A. Portfolio Submission:
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing academic qualifications and professional accomplishments
- A performance history/portfolio demonstrating expertise in theatre practice
- A teaching philosophy or statement outlining your approach to theatre education
- Professional references from reputable theatre practitioners or academic supervisors
B. Live Demonstration Class / Faculty Showcase:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to conduct a studio-based demonstration session to evaluate their teaching methodology and subject expertise.
In exceptional cases, the Academic Committee reserves the right to waive this requirement upon reviewing documented evidence of professional excellence.
