Position Details

  • Job Title: Operations Teller (OG-II)
  • Location/Place of Posting: Various branches as per Bank’s operational requirements (including Lower M… and other designated areas).
  • Grade: Officer Grade-II (OG-II)
  • Employment Type: Contractual – renewable based on performance and business needs.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized local or international university.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with commerce, business administration, accounting, or finance background.

Experience:

  • Fresh graduates may apply; however, candidates with prior experience in banking, cash handling, or customer service will be preferred.

Age Limit:

  • As per Bank’s policy.

Outline of Main Duties & Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for performing the following key tasks:

  1. Cash Handling: Accurately receive, verify, and disburse cash over the counter while maintaining proper cash limits.
  2. Customer Service: Provide courteous and efficient service to customers, addressing their transactional needs promptly.
  3. Transaction Processing: Handle deposits, withdrawals, utility bill payments, fund transfers, and other over-the-counter transactions in compliance with Bank policies.
  4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and prepare necessary reports for branch management.
  5. Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) guidelines, and internal control procedures.
  6. Error Prevention: Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly to minimize operational risks.
  7. Support Functions: Assist branch operations in various administrative and service tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager or Operations Manager.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Good customer service orientation with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Ethical conduct and commitment to confidentiality.
