The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a government-owned entity under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), invites applications from fresh and qualified candidates for its Management Trainee Programme. This initiative is a strategic endeavor to nurture young professionals by offering comprehensive training in the mining and geological sectors.
This one-year contract-based training program is not an offer of permanent employment. It is an enriching opportunity for youth from Balochistan, aimed at enhancing professional capabilities through hands-on industry experience. Eligibility Criteria
- Domicile: Applicants must be domiciled in Balochistan.
- Education: Minimum qualification includes:
- For Mining: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering (16 years of education).
- For Geology: Master’s degree in Geology.
- Graduation Year: Open to candidates who completed their education in 2024.
- Merit Basis: Open merit will be observed among Balochistan domiciled candidates.

Selection Process
- Written Test & Interview: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will undergo a written assessment followed by an interview.
- Merit Weightage:
- 30% based on academic performance.
- 40% based on written test results.
- 30% based on interview evaluation.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
- No travel allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for test/interview appearances.
