Key Responsibilities
For Head Teacher
- Lead school development and maintain academic as well as administrative standards.
- Build a safe, collaborative, and inclusive learning environment.
- Represent the school professionally during meetings, events, and official visits.
- Monitor teachers’ performance and provide guidance for effective teaching practices.
- Ensure that educational resources and facilities are properly utilized.
- Maintain accurate school records, registers, and documentation.
- Supervise lesson planning, classroom delivery, and overall curriculum implementation.
- Develop strong communication channels with parents, community members, and local leaders to strengthen school-community relations.
- Support teacher capacity-building through professional development and mentoring.
- Manage financial records of the school and ensure transparency in reporting.
For Teachers
- Ensure at least 100% student attendance on a regular basis.
- Provide quality instruction in assigned subjects following approved syllabi.
- Focus on child-friendly and participatory teaching methodologies.
- Maintain student records, including lesson notes, attendance, and academic progress.
- Identify and support children who need additional learning assistance.
- Participate actively in training sessions and capacity-building workshops.
- Engage with parents through regular meetings and updates on student progress.
- Support school administration and cooperate with the Head Teacher for effective functioning.
- Promote extracurricular activities to encourage creativity, confidence, and critical thinking in students.
