Pakistan Railways is hiring staff on contract basis for the following positions:

1. Assistant Land Inspector (BS-11)

• Total Vacancies: As per quota
• Qualification:
  • 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Recognized by Board of Technical Education
• Relevant Field: Land inspection, surveying, railway property management

2. Draftsman / CAD Operator (BS-11)

• Total Vacancies: Multiple
• Qualification:
  • 1-year CAD diploma/course from a reputed institute
• Skills Required:
  • AutoCAD drafting
  • Technical drawings
  • Land and civil layouts

3. Revenue Assistant (BS-09)

Provincial & Regional Quotas

• Government Servants / Contract Employees:
  • 10 years relaxation (up to age 55) with minimum 2 years continuous service
• Persons with Disabilities:
  • 10 years relaxation
• Widow or children of deceased civil servants:
  • 5 years additional relaxation

Note: Only one category of age relaxation can be availed.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be made strictly on merit as per the following formula:

• Written Test: 70%
• Interview: 30%

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test and interview.

Instructions for Applicants

• Candidates already serving in Pakistan Railways or any other government department must apply through proper channel along with NOC
• Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test or interview
• Selected candidates must:
  • Pass medical examination
  • Obtain security clearance
  • Complete required training
  • Accept posting anywhere in Pakistan Railways system

If any document is found fake or bogus, the appointment will be cancelled and legal action may be taken.
