The Punjab Agriculture Department has announced a vacancy for a Financial Management Specialist under the Chief Minister’s Punjab Green Tractor Program for the fiscal year 2024-25.
Position Details
- Position: Financial Management Specialist
- Scale: Project Pay Scale (PPS-09)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years
- Contract Duration: Up to June 30, 2025
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in financial management, with a minimum of 5 years in roles involving subsidy schemes or agricultural projects.
- Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting, and compliance, particularly within agricultural finance.
- Proficiency in financial management software, including QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- High ethical standards with a focus on transparency and accountability.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to make informed decisions based on complex financial data.
