🔹 Purpose of the Program

The goal is not just to rebuild houses but to create safer, climate-resilient homes that can withstand future natural disasters. The program includes:

  • Financial assistance for home reconstruction.
  • Technical support for housing design and quality assurance.
  • Community-level infrastructure development.

🔹 August 2025 Disbursement Progress

  • More than 60,000 beneficiaries across multiple districts have received their 2nd or 3rd tranche of financial assistance.

Beneficiaries in these areas have either completed construction milestones or submitted required documentation and site verifications, making them eligible for the next installment.


🔹 Beneficiary Support & Grievance Redressal

To facilitate smooth implementation and address challenges:

  • Mobile facilitation centers have been deployed in remote areas for onsite support.
  • A toll-free helpline and local grievance redress centers have been activated to respond to complaints, registration issues, and technical queries.

🔹 Community Involvement and Transparency

SPHF emphasizes community participation to ensure transparency. Social mobilizers and engineers are working hand-in-hand with residents to ensure:

  • Proper utilization of funds.
  • Use of quality construction materials.
  • Compliance with climate-resilient building standards.

In collaboration with development partners and monitoring agencies, regular audits and third-party evaluations are also conducted to maintain the program’s integrity.
