Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO), a leading development organization committed to uplifting rural communities, is inviting applications from experienced and results-driven professionals for the position of Chief Internal Auditor (CIA). This is a high-level strategic role aimed at strengthening governance, improving internal controls, and ensuring effective risk management across SRSO’s diverse operations. The position will directly report to the Board of Directors and the Board Audit Committee (BAC), providing independent assurance and advisory services.

Key Purpose of the Role
The Chief Internal Auditor will lead SRSO’s internal audit function, ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with regulatory and donor requirements.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in internal audit, compliance, risk management, or financial control (preferably within donor-funded or multi-sectoral development programs).
- Prior experience as Head of Internal Audit in Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the annual risk-based internal audit plan aligned with organizational objectives.
- Assess and strengthen internal control systems, risk mitigation strategies, and governance frameworks.
- Present comprehensive audit findings and recommendations to the BAC and senior leadership in line with donor and regulatory compliance standards.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor the internal audit team to ensure quality audit practices.
- Monitor adherence to organizational policies, legal guidelines, and donor requirements.
- Utilize ERP platforms and audit tools to streamline auditing and reporting processes.
Skills & Core Competencies
- In-depth understanding of audit methodologies, governance structures, and risk management processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to evaluate organizational systems and recommend improvements.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills for driving audit excellence.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and use of modern audit software.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven expertise in professional report writing.
