The State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC), the nation’s largest life and health insurer, is offering exciting career opportunities in its Windows Takaful Operations. Applications are invited for multiple positions on a three-year contract basis, extendable based on performance.
Available Positions
1. Manager (Finance & Accounts)
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Location: Karachi
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s (4 years) or Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
- Membership in recognized professional accounting bodies (ICAP, ICMAP, or ACCA) is also acceptable.
- Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the Insurance or Family Takaful sector.
Skills:
- Sound knowledge of Takaful principles, Companies Act (2017), Insurance Ordinance (2000), and Takaful Rules (2012).
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Oracle or SAP software is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Preparing financial statements, monitoring investments, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
2. Manager (Policyholder Service/Customer Services)
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Location: Karachi
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience: 4–5 years of relevant experience in customer services, claims management, and legal compliance within the Takaful sector.
Skills:
- Expertise in Family Takaful operational systems.
- Strong hands-on experience in customer service operations.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Family Takaful operations, including underwriting and claims processing.
- Ensuring efficient customer service and adherence to regulatory standards.
3. Manager (Business Development – Banca Takaful)
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Location: Karachi
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field (18 years of education).
- Experience: 4–5 years of relevant experience in sales or business development within the Takaful or financial sector.
Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of Takaful principles and banking channel operations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and coaching skills for partner engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Promoting Takaful products through banking channels.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with partner banks.
- Designing marketing campaigns and organizing events to engage customers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must hold domicile for their respective province.
